Recipe Pro also tabulates the batch size recipe of these
products so that a pick-list can be generated for the entire run (lot). Lot
and batch numbering can be Julian, date or user defined with a unique prefix
given to each packaged product. The batch calculator translates cases
ordered into batches required to meet the demand, with the pick-list
adjusted for the entire run. If the run is saved, the consecutive batch
numbers are recorded.
Recipe Pro allows the assignment of a common report name
(i.e. Temperature Verification Report) to reports that are described within
the HACCP plan. These reports are then tied to an actual document within a
compatible word processor so that information (i.e. batch numbers) can be
merged directly from the batch run.
Copies per report can be set per document. By using a
word processor (such as Word), you can create and modify as many different
reports as you desire. You can also add logos and other graphics. Historical
reports of past runs can be generated and fashioned to your own liking.
A notes section, for special labeling or handling
instructions, appears for each packaged product. This information may be
merged to printed documents as well.
As the HACCP plan changes and new verification procedures are added, the
changes are reflected within Recipe Pro. A warning is displayed if a run is
attempted when no document is assigned to a HACCP plan monitoring or
verification report.
