AFL Pro is comparable to the CESCOM Aircraft
Flight Log form. Totals are carried forward on screen and on the full
report. The form interface
appears like the actual form so usability is increased. A daily sheet can be
printed with flights limited to the chosen date, MTD and YTD statistics, active discrepancies and the most current VOR checks.
New: AFL-Pro now tracks and reports non-business use of the aircraft
in accordance with the IRS's publication "Calculating Disallowance of Expense Deductions for Recreational
Use of Corporate Aircraft". Simultaneous calculations
comparing seat miles versus seat hours is displayed so the the most
economical approach can be taken. |

| Airports |
Great circle distances
are calculated by entering the city identifiers. Identifiers can be
added "on the fly" to a database of over 5000 airports already installed. |
 |
| Automation |
Aircraft hours, engine hours, aircraft
landings, engine cycles, APU events or Fuel Purchase, APU or L. Prop hours, Freon
or R. Prop hours and crew can be
defined to increment with flight hours, landings and last flight information
or overwritten on an individual basis. Crew is selected from a pull-down
list. Discrepancies are entered by the pilot and are removed by
double-clicking the number. |

| Save and Search |
Forms are saved to a central database by
aircraft. The forms can be retrieved and the individual pages viewed. |
|
| Printing |
The log prints on plain white paper and an
optional user logo can be included. All user information is posted at
the top of the page and multiple copies can be made. The form is
accepted by CESCOM and looks essentially like the pre-printed forms offered
by Cessna. A toggle can be set to print only the data within the
fields so pre-printed forms can be used. The daily report also calculates
Day, Month and Year to date statistics such as miles flown, pax, load factor
and more. Load factor can be shown as average number of seats filled
or % of available.
An inspection interval can be set with an alert level. If the hours
remaining are less than the alert level, the value is printed in red.
